updates and hiatus announcement

Alright you may notice that I didn't blogged for 6 days. It's because I'm lazy and at the same time busy for my exams. It already started since Monday and will be so till Friday next week. So I will not be updating till then unless it's really important.


But as always...this is a must each week. Music of the week.


Since yesterday, I've been bored so I turned to internet radio. I found that there's a lotsa cool and talented musicians that I don't know about. And they are not known coz they're either indie or not so commercialized. Which is kinda cool coz we know that it is really good and original. Anyways, I discovered Aimee Mann. She's so talented and the first time I heard her I thought "OMG who is this? It's totally divine!"


So her song Humpty Dumpty is this week's music of the week...at this time, it will be playing on this blog so you can check it out...cool stuff!

Why doctor, why?

Well this thought suddenly got its way into my mind. All of the sudden. Why doctors always use complicated terms for sickness' or diseases?

1. It sounds cool.
2. It's hard for the patient to get the presciption anywhere else...only the doctor know the correct spelling or pronunciation of meds and diseases.
3. Well, lets face it, patients will get insulted with direct english or other languages with the same meaning as the medical terms. EG: Schizophrenia - crazyness; Doctor: You are crazy, mister. Patient: What did you call me??!! Arrghhh! *kills self*

By the way, my dear room mate is now in a Psyciatric Ward. Gosh crazy people's ward! Me: Arrrgh! God save me from crazy people...I'm gonna be in their ward soon! Arrghh!

Monday Blues

I don't like Mondays
I wanna shoot the whole day down...


NO it's not coz it's tha dreaded first day of the week, NO it's not coz english class, BUT I have a new reason why I hate Mondays:

lappie's back!!!

Guess what?!


I got my lappie back! She's alright and healthy now! I'm very glad.


The only thing that bugged me is that my Microsoft Office applications all gone. I dunno why...and I didn't realise it until I got home. But in my case, I thought about it and there's really not so much problem. Coz I seldom use those programs except Word and Powerpoint. As long as the Internet Explorer is okay, it's fine by me. Truth is, I don't like to complicate things. I'm not fussy. Maybe I'll figure out how to fix this prob.


Just like, how I installed a new antivirus for lappie last night...I was up all night figuring out what's best and I chose Avast as many people recommended it. And I loaded many more progs...this lappie is like so empty when I collected it at PC Planet. All my documents are gone...most of my downloaded programs are gone...it feels 'lighter' and actually faster than before. DOwnloaded: Sims2, Winzip, sonicstage, Visual c++... I think I'm gonna install more programs.


Right now...I'm interested in tweaking windows. Yup...seems fun, but extremely dangerous (yikes! lol) if you don't know what you're doing. And I've finally successful in tweaking XP to look like Vista! Yay hooray! My bro is gonna freak when he knows this! Now my lappie is soooo pretty and adorable...hehehe don't be jealous!

So no, my room mate is not back yet from the hospital. Yup.


As for me, I've finished and done all the projects and assignments...I feel so relieved and happy yknow! No strings attached. Now I just have to focus towards my final exams. Just that. Seems easy enough.


ERm and I missed the Computer Organisation (on purpose, shut up!). Yup coz I hate presentations and I can't get up that early, man!

of hotels and stinking

Haih....I'm so excited to come to this computer lab. But guess what, I got here and there's no electricity! Well, I think the correct term is there is no air-con...coz there's light...and the computers are working....hmmm...


Anyways, needless to say it's freakin hot in here!! Argh...I'm baked. And I'll be stinking very soon...talk about B.O...


At 2pm I'll have my English presentation and I'm not even prepared for it. My group mate is the one who makes the power point...and it's with her right now. I didn't come to Math class this morning, and I guess she couldn't give it to me then. Oh well, I might as well just read the damn thing. Even if I had the power point sheet with me, I know I wouldn't be bothered to practice or anything! Hope my presentation goes well...huhu.

long chat

Last night I chatted with this guy over my bro's msn...coz I accidentally send a comment about diana king's vid while using my bro's youtube account...which resulted to this guy asking my bro instead of me about Diana King. Which my bro didn't even like and don't know anything about.


So I chatted a bit with him explaining about Diana King and her Jamaican accent. And leaded to other musical things. This guy is a music freak, I tell you. And I'm quite awkward coz I've never chatted since I'm 16...quite a few years ago. So I'm kinda weird. And it becomes weirder when he wanted to webcam. I don't have a webcam, so I just watch him... he's kinda cute and all that...spanish guy..


But I found he was gay...by his favorite vids in youtube. Such a waste! But it's strange that I'm kinda looking forward to chat with him again. Maybe coz he's a music freak like me...


Whatever...hahaha.
